Hellgate London Review - Someone Needs to Say It

This was one game that was eagerly awaited by gamers, and it was trumpeted with lots of hype. The unfortunate thing is that the game, while good, simply doesn’t measure up to the hype.

Don’t go thinking this online game review was written to bash the London game, that’s not it at all. It just wasn’t extraordinary. When a game is built up to be something big and exciting, you start anticipating an off-the-wall fantastic game, or at least something unique.

However, this game wasn’t innovative, amazing, or even awesome. There were some parts you could get excited about, and it was fun. What would make the game even better is if it those parts of the game were magnified.

If you read another Hellgate London review, and it says that the game was amazing, or that it lived up to it’s expectations, they will be lying. It’s kind of like buttering up your girlfriend or boyfriend instead of telling them that they did something dumb, because you don’t want their feelings to be hurt.

To be quite honest with you, the stats confused the fire out of me. It’s hard to keep track of each and every weapon doing different kinds of damage. Well, despite that problem, it’s nifty to be able to use a wide variety of attacks.

But there is one really cool thing I’ll note in this Hellgate London review: You can break down items in your inventory to conserve space, and you can pick up gold like crazy. Which is about as cool as it gets. Don’t forget, if it doesn’t work out between you and Hellgate London, there are many other games to try.
